Luminous & JUICE solutions for red KEM cards are available
Which
KEM playing cards were tested?

						|
						 KEM Club Design
Use large "JUICE" or small "Tint Work"
Marking Patterns. Since large JUICE marking patterns can
be read from a greater distance, people tend to use
						"JUICE" markings whenever possible.
						 |

						   |

						|
						 KEM Arrow Design
Lends itself best for "Tint Work" marking patterns.
						This is
because the Arrow back design has larger white areas and
large JUICE-style marks may be seen on the white areas
						of the card.
						 |

						   |

				Note: Each deck was shuffled
500+ times to test permanence of markings
What is the difference between JUICE marking patterns and Tint Work marking patterns?

						 Large JUICE
						marking patterns |

						 Tint Work

						 Distance visibility |

Traditionally JUICE is used to make large marking patterns
						which may be seen
near or far (2-8+ foot visibility)
Specific marking patterns, locations and recommendations
are discussed in the instructions |

The JUICE solution may also be used to
make "Tint Work" marking patterns. Traditionally, Tint
Work involves the application of "SHADE" to areas of the card
which have a good ratio of color and white design.
Therefore, you use JUICE to "TINT" smaller areas of the
card which allows visibility from 2-4 feet (across a
						table). Specific marking patterns,
locations and recommendations are discussed in the
						instructions |

						|
Which solutions may be used? |

Luminous (easy to read marks through
filter gimmick) or JUICE (must train to
read marks) Applying solutions is as
easy as writing or drawing. One jar of solution will make
10 decks of KEM Club backed cards (Juice for blue
backed cards is currently not available for KEM) |

Luminous (easy to read marks through
filter gimmick) or JUICE (must train to
read marks) Applying solutions is as
easy as writing or drawing. One jar of solution will make
25+ decks of Tint Work cards. Tint work
style marking patterns may be used on KEM Arrow or Club
						back design cards
(Juice for blue backed cards is currently not available for KEM) |

Basically, the main difference between large JUICE
and Tint Work marking patterns is how the solution is applied to the cards. The
same solutions (Luminous or JUICE) may be applied using
larger JUICE-style marking patterns or using smaller Tint
Work-style marking patterns. Since KEM Arrow back cards
have larger contiguous white areas, Tint Work is recommended so
the SHADE cannot be seen on the white areas of Arrow back KEMs.
				See
				"marked card examples" to gain
more insight into large Juice, Tint work and Flash marking
				patterns.

So, should I purchase
the Luminous or JUICE solution? In a nutshell, you must decide:
	-

How much effort you are willing to put
into learning to read markings? ((Luminous shade is easy vs. JUICE/Tint Work
takes practice to read, but all are easy to apply)
	-

Is wearing sunglasses reasonable? (they
even wear sunglasses in the World Series of Poker) - Luminous requires
your sunglasses and my supplied filter gimmick vs. JUICE/Tint Work which does not
	use and sunglasses or filter
	-

All solutions are very easy to apply
	-
Red or Blue backed playing cards?
(Today, I have only tested with red backed KEM cards. Formulas for blue
backed KEM cards are expected to be developed in the future.)

Why buy pre-marked
"shaded" decks
for $80-$120 per deck ?
Save money by marking your own KEM back design playing cards
!
When ordering please specify if you want Luminous Shade
and/or JUICE solutions specifically formulated for KEM playing cards or for
paper based United States Playing Card Company playing cards.
(Note: The KEM solutions will damage the finish of regular
paper bases playing cards. Conversely, the solutions designed for paper playing
cards will not adhere to KEM (100% Plastic) Playing cards. Therefore, each
solution is chemically designed for it's respective stock for permanence and not
to damage the finish of the cards.)
